hrm....i don't ever remember anyone asking this question before! lol.

Daydreaming. I guess it's wherever you are comfortable.
I daydream all the time.
I do it when i'm doing the housework, when i'm walking to work, even sat in front of the television.

I think it helps to develop the imagination.

There's no right or wrong place to practise daydreaming, except maybe at those times when you need to be concentrating, like driving a car or something....

Hope that helps!

I like this question! I daydream probably far too much... but it can be so relaxing!
I probably wouldn't daydream on my bed; it would be too easy for me to go to sleep. I like a baywindow, but I don't have one where I live. Besides that, I have found porch swings, sofas with pillows and blankets or the deck of a sailboat to be ideal.
I daydream about all kinds of places. I have a list though, in my mind, of "happy places". They're not all real either. One place is in a hammock near a nice house with a porch. It is cloudy, almost misting rain, and I have some books with me to read. Inside the house is a table with hot tea, bread, cheese etc. waiting for when I'm done. I went there in my mind while having localized surgery, and it helped me to be calm.
I also like to picture my grandmother's house in Alabama sometimes. Or maybe riding a horse in the country... yeah, daydreaming is great.

I also like daydreaming, but I always try not to fix reality with fantasy.
What pisses me off a bit is when some of my friends tell me that I'm a dreamer and I live in the world of fantasy.
Then I answer "What is wrong in it? Think yourself why do I do that? Maybe our real world doesn't suit me?"
I'm tired being sorry.

I think the place is only the second criteria for being able to daydream in an effective way. The most important thing is your mood and your feelings, your perception on that day .. amazing how different it can even be....

Rav1 .. I see what you're saying, got more or less the same "problem" .. gettn sicker and sicker of it, since I feel like I get hold back through that... being hold back in the whole viewing of dreaming, subconsciousness, daydreaming, perception ....

When I was younger, I mean as a teen, I didn't like dreaming. I often woke up in the night sweating all over and so on. But life at the time was more colorful, more straight, attractive so who needed a dream?
Now being over 30 I don't mind dreaming, I don't afraid dreams any more, as you get older you see more and more what this fucked world really looks like and... you start to ponder where are more nightmares : in my dreams or in waking life?
I'm tired being sorry.

I have this daydream that I invented a couple of years ago. I'm sort of developing a story line for it and maybe develope it into a game. Everytime I think about it I feel all glowy inside. And by the way, it's good to be back.

They sell soap crayons for little kids to write on the walls in the bathtub. You could pick up some of those.

My favorite place to daydream is in my car while I drive at night. Staring at the lines in the road, or the tail lights of the cars ahead of me. Everything is very visualy monotonous and I put on some relaxing music. It can put you in a bit of a daze not unlike mild hypnosis and day dreaming becomes much more vivid and realistic. I sometimes even find myself mouthing the words I'm saying in my daydream.

I'm prolly gonna get flamed for unsafe driving habits.

I always daydream during school. I don't think I'd be able to get through my day without it. And when I read, too.

Anytime I find myself a second of quite time, I'm daydreaming. It's a healthy habit I think; keeps your creativity and imagination intact! I don't have time for those petty little concerns like work or school...
