Thread: Dream Coincidence

Last night I had a dream about a guy at work and some lollies. Here's the excerpt from my DJ:


Colin and the Bag of Lollies

I have a large mixed bag of wrapped lollies. I take them to work to share around. After serving a customer, the customer offers me some of what he's eating and I want to offer him some lollies. I go to reach down and get some and they're missing.

I know Colin has hidden them so I tell Colin I have offered some lollies to the customer and I can't find them. He points to some stock high up on a shelf indicating they are hidden up there.

I go and get them but the customer has already left. Colin gets angry. He asks why I bought such a large bag anyway. I told him they don't all have to be eaten today! He doesn't listen and keeps asking why I bought such a large bag, like I'm greedy or something.

I pick up HIS bag of lollies and tell him his bag is also large and he IS likely to eat them all in one day! A girl I work with agrees and laughs.

The next time I notice my bag of lollies it is significantly depleted. Now I'm worried Colin will think I am eating all the lollies in one day. I need to find out who ate all my lollies. I suspect it's a girl who works upstairs. How do I discretely find out without seeming like I resent her for taking them? I don't mind that she took them, I just need to know WHO took them.

Now back to reality:

While at work today I saw a wrapped lolly on a desk. It was the same as the ones I dreamed about. I picked it up and asked Cassandra who the lolly belonged to. She said Colin bought a large bag of them yesterday and he ate the lot and made himself sick. This lolly was the only one left.

I thought that was pretty funny and a hell of a coincidence considering the dream I had.
