Overworking, nervousness...spend more time on the fresh air. Rat race is the dead end, it leads you to nowhere.
Twice in the last month, I've dreamt about hitting someone and ended up hitting my husband! The dreams were very different...in one I was being cornered by an unknown man who was trying to burn me with a cigarette. I punched him and immediately woke up, unsure about what had happened...until my husband asked why I did that! Then, just last night, I dreamt that my 11 daughter was being really mouthy and I went to smack her in the mouth...again this time I woke up, and realized that I had actually smacked my husband in the face! Naturally, we're both a little concerned about this...him more than me probably...he's jokingly asked to make sure all sharp objects are removed from the bedroom!
Has anyone else experienced this that could offer some advice?

I'm tired being sorry.
I don't know, but I think you need to relax a bit, and maybe spend some more time out with your husband to connect more or something. Maybe you have some anger towards him that you need to resolve. I don't really know though.
This could be true. Maybe youre just stressed out, or not happy about someones involvment with you or the family (your husband?). Write things down, get them out of your system, talk to your husband about problems, vent or whatever (if you dont already). Maybe events in the past as a child or something? I've had plenty of dreams where ive been short with people and just angry for no reason (that i can think of) and end up waking up angry at them....scares me a little but i think everyone has these types of dreams, and high stress could be the cause of it.
As far as acting it out (unless i misread) and actually hitting your husband in your sleep, im not too sure about that. I know acting out dreams is NOT unheard of, but im not sure if your case would fall under an actual disorder, or just simply...a twitch and your husband is simply in the way maybe (just a guess). Im sure someone else has had similar experiences and or knowledge that could shed some light on this.Their are people with a disorder of acting out dreams (i think it has to do with their brain not triggering muscle paralysis during REM sleep) and literally have to line their beds with pillows because they kick and fight and fall off the bed. (some wake up not remembering any dreams). I highly doubt yours falls under a disorder though

It could just be a phase, especially if you are feeling stressed out in any way, even if it may not apparently seem so. Try keeping track of your dreams and see if there are any patterns that emerge, such as feeling stressed or feeling a particularly strong emotion. Often dreams can be great indicators of things that are going on in our lives that we aren't always aware of or that we just don't think about because they're so common.
If this continues for a while, I would advise seeing a doctor because there could be something disrupting your normal sleeping patterns. Sleep paralysis is something that everyone (should) experience, where the body is essentially frozen so that we don't act out what we dream. I don't think it's something to worry about too much, but just keep that in mind if it keeps happening.
It's probably just a short phase. Sometimes - especially with dreams, I've found - once you've identified that there's a problem or something unique going on, it often changes.

Too bad we will never hear from this lady again... I am interested to know how it is she became so accurate at attacking his face with her eyes closed...
