Hi Martin Shadow Welcome to the forum. In regards to using your old technique Yes this would be a very good idea to do. Relaxation is usually the best way that I am able to maintain and stabilize my Lucid flight. The more comfortable you feel the easier it is to do when you are more coherent in the dream world. So as they say if it's not broke don't fix it. Do what feels natural to you. because what works for someone else may not necessarily work for you.
Hypnic Jerk- Sensation of falling, and then "jerking" awake just as one drifts to sleep. It is a normal sensation experienced by many people. This is normal don't sweat this.![]()
