Could be worth a try I suppose seeing as I want to try a Lucid Induction MP3 but haven't got anything to play it on
Doubt the visualizations would help much, maybe they just make you drowsy
I just got a 360 and I was fiddling around with the music player and it has some pretty sweet visualizations that can really stimulate your mind. crank up the music and put it on full screen and let the hippy psycho delic tunnels carry you away. they are amazing. I had some pretty vivid non-lucid dreams after watching these. i didnt really watch them that long but if i did, i believe i would carry out an sweet LD.
An Idea. A single idea from the human mind can build cities. An idea can transform the world and rewrite all the rules.

I dunno, maybe the visualizations do something to your brain getting it in weird dream-ish mindset.

lol i hope you're not getting an xbox 360 for the sole purpose of inducing a lucid dream.
I only say this because xbox 360's run for like 500 bucks
If you think the 360's visualizations are good, you should really experience some other audio programs.
I would recommend winamp. Its free, the visualizations are way better, and interact with the music, and you can edit them to your tastes (if you are that good at math) Also, the electricsheep screensaver can have some really cool stuff displaying, but you need a broadband connection for it to really work. Both of these are free, and IMHO better at visuals than my 360 is.

If you have like 400 bucks to waste you could always get a pair of these. They are the equivalent of watching a 50inch screen from 8.5 feet away. Great for visualizations, bad for your pocketbook. Seriously I'd rather buy myself an Xbox 360/PS3 with that money though, but if you're filthy rich and have nothing to do it could be fun (sadly that's not me).
I love my 360 and yeah the visualisations are great, but not as great as other applications can give you![]()
