      lack of dream signs

      my dreams are all over the board and about the only dreamsign i can find is violence or the grotesque (rotting living flesh, deamons)... either way at that point in a dream i am usually too wrapped up in the events of the dream to make a consious decision to do a r.c.

      any suggestions to overcome this or is this a "practice makes perfect" type of thing?

      Perhaps you could watch a bunch or gory horror films (really old ones that aren't that frightening) and do RCs the whole time your watching. Just build a connection in your mind between violence and dreaming.

      Do you keep a dream journal?

      Since I started mine I found I had a lot more dream signs than I thought. It amazed me actually, to see how many times I dreamed about certain things.

      Try a dream journal for two weeks and then tell me you have no dream signs.
      Lucid Dream Goal: Give a dream character a flower and jump off the Sky Tower.

      Recorded Lucids since joining: 3 DILD, 1 WILD
      I often have other lucids that I forget or that I don't record for whatever reason.
      Lucid Tasks Completed: 2 Basic (but one was a month too late)

      i do! i am trying to move it from paper to online... but still my dreamsigns are very scattered and infrequent. i went back and read through a bunch of them, it seems doing LSD is one i missed- i actually dreamed about that last night. it makes me wish i was somone who dreemed about being at work all the time.
      i like the idea about horror movies... it's a good excuse to make my wife let me rent a bunch of bad horror.
