I'm not sure. On the one hand, it might be a little harder to fall back to sleep when you stay up later and then get up randomly. It helps to have a dark sleep mask, but even that doesn't always work for me.
On the other hand, I heard dreams are most likely to occur when you sleep between the hours of midnight and 8, and IME, dream recall is better and lucid dream probability is higher later in the morning. Both of those may only be because the dreams are longer, so there are more fragments to recall and more opportunities to attain lucidity. And I think the dreams are longer still, and very vivid, as you sleep later, although if you go too late it might not work as well.
I've had many well-recalled vivid dreams, and lucid dreams, sleeping a little bit late.
