      sleep walking/talking

My roommate every night sleeptalks. He will say random things and I will ask him questions and he will reply just as he would IRL. Last night he said " Im going to get a drink of water". He then got up and went to get a drink and then he came back. In the morning when I mentioned it to him and he told me that I was lying. I insisted that I wasnt and he still didnt believe me. Was this sleep walking or just that he forgot about it.

Iono much about dreams, sleep walking etc but I'd say he was sleep walking. I dun think you'd actually announce that you're gonna get a drink of water in the middle of the night... just - do it, lol.

My stepdad sleep walks but sleep talks more, I'm quite scared for if he came into my room sleep walking or something. I doubt he'll come in with a knife or something but still, like the ghost myth, it still scares you when it shoudn't. It should just be annoying if anything, not scary.

Sorry I'm rambling, it's just scary!

Not going to go into details...

I have little or no SP when I sleep, I go to bed with a perfectly folded bedsheets and bed-covers... Wake up with a blanket and bed-covers all scrunched up on me. One time I actually fell out of bed...

One time I went sleep walking to the bathroom... turns out I went to the kitchen- Pee'd all over the potatos. Woke up with no memory of it and my mom was like . That day we had Hashbrown (Note: I only know this from a recounting of events from parents and siblings)

AIM me if you have time!!!... I'm needy
Holy crap I just had my first LD 11/25/07

Have done both sleep talking(screaming?) and walking. Once injured myself and once tried to kill someone. Got counselling and sleep alone, not walking as much as acting out. Scary for me, as well as others. Brought on by anxiety.

Was the counselling for the sleepwalking or for the anxiety? Just wondering what sort of counselling can address sleepwalking.

Anxiety caused sleepwalking, hence the counselling was for that. Every time I was looking for work, for example, or things went haywire in my life like my marriage breaking up. I was raised wonky and couldn't handle stress of any kind which showed up in my dreams which I then acted out.

Two days that I slept on the same room with my brother i´ve sleeptalked, and remembered...

The first was kinda funny =P i was seeing a tree in my bed, with a white grasshopper on it, then I just started saying "look, a different hopper!! so cool!!" after a while, everything fades black, I told my brother to turn the lights on again and he said "but they were off all the time"
Then I realized I was dreaming

I sleep talk, yell, and move almost every night. Some people just do that.

I know someone who, in his sleep, got up, went outside, stole a car, crashed it, and left the scene of the accident. When he woke up, he was being arrested. He'd taken a sleeping pill that he will never take again. The commercials for it warns that there had been reports of people doing stuff while on it, and he was one of them.

I don't know if I have ever done sleep walking/talking myself, but I sure have had fun with a girl I knew years ago. We had a sleep over, she started talking in her sleep, and we had a lot of fun. Within not many minutes, we had her walking all around the basement. To the bathroom to wash her hands, we told her there was a fly on her face and watched as she kept slapping herself. After a while, we decided we'd better leave her alone and get to sleep ourselves. Of course, in the morning, she didn't remember a thing. I admit, we were someone cruel, but safely cruel, to her that night.

Well my life of this has been weird.

I live in a 3 bedroom house and there are 6 of us, My parents, my 2 sisters (13 and 19) and my brother (17).
So me and my brother share a room, my parents share a room and my sisters share a room.
Now, i have never seen myself sleep walking obviously, but my brother has said he seen me, me parents have. and my sisters. He has also recorded me talking to him about burning a plug socket or something stupid like that.
I have let my dogs out of the kitchen (where they stay at night) and the one i know i have done is where i sleep in my boxers, but then in the morning i wake up and i am actually in my clothes that i was going to wear the next day.

And at one time im not sure if it was sleep walking or anything because i was in bed and then i looked at the ground and i thought i saw a leprichaun, i got so scared i got to the corner of the bed and i heard it say "im going to kill you then your brother" so i grabbed the nearest item which was the ps2 game and i threw it across the room to my brother to wake him up, after 10 minutes of watching him check the room to reasure me. I went to sleep. the next day, i remember it completly, i dont remember any sleep walking, i dont know if i was sleep walking or just crazy.

      He remembers it also.
