Wow, I've never heard of this before... And you say you wake up the next morning with the fall into bed feeling? If you just wake up at some point in the night like that, I'd think Hypnaponic Jerk (spelling?)

I recently joined this forum because I am very interested in lucid dreaming, but I also I would like to learn about other parts of myself, so here's my story:
Every once in a while, maybe a few months, maybe a few weeks, I will have a weird "feeling" type of dream. It normally happens when I am trying to fall asleep because I need to wake up early the next day or something, so I am constantly silencing my train of though so I can fall asleep (I leaned here that this is generally a bad idea, but it did have an interesting effect) what happened was that I'd get these wierd "feeling" type dreams, it's kind of hard to explain but I'll do my best. Most commonly I just have a "feeling" of running, like I know I'm running but I don't see or hear or touch anything, I just know I'm running. There are no emotions associated with this kind of thing, but they all end with me "knowing" that I trip and fall and waking up, normally with that falling-into-my-bed type of feeling.
Variations: Riding bike, walking. One time I "knew" i was doing it on a sidewalk.
Normally I just have regular (as far as regular goes) dreams, with sight, sound, and occasionally touch and taste, but is there any reason for these odd "sense-less" dreams? Has anyone else had one before?

On LD hiatus. Probably will start again around new years.
Or, you know -- randomly throughout this year and next.

Bollocks.

It feels like... falling int your bed. like when you wake up from a falling dream. Except it was one of these weird dreams I just described.

Yes, I know the feeling.
Weird... Is it at least enjoyable, it certainly sounds interesting.

the only time i get dreams like that or anything outside the my 'normal' routine of dreaming to to dream while im still awake. But i only make it a few minutes before i get a skipping feeling like a CD skipping, and the same few seconds just repeat and repeat until i wake up for a few minutes and make another shot at having a dream. Once i actualy fall asleep i wish i had stayed awake.
Just signed up and reading other peoples dreams are fun at least someone is having dreams of some sort. Id die for a dream even a nightmare would be nice at least it would be a change. If I wanna dream I have to stay awake and just think about what I want to dream, and without attention to every minor detail it skips. Something as minute as the color of the walls, or picturing all five of my fingures and it all skips and has to be restarted. Day dreams are about the only dreams I have

It's okay dude, just keep trying. Every night before you go to bed tell yourself that you will remember your dreams. You have to believe that you will remember your dreams. Try eating your favorite food a couple hours before you go to bed. And when you wake up write down what you remember right away, and you might be able to piece together a dream. That's what my first few were like. (I used to only remember awesome dreams and nightmares)
