Last night I woke up suddenly to find my legs were in sp. And I quickly find out why I woke up so suddenly. I got a random charlie horse in my calf, and because my legs were in sp I couldn't move my leg in order to straighten out the muscle. It was just my luck, that the leg that came out of sp first was the leg that was doing fine, so I tryed using that leg to prop up my other leg and straighten it out. Finally my leg came out of sp and I was able to get rid of that painful charlie horse. I just really hope that never happens again, although it could have been worse, I could have been in full sp.
I don't know about anything that you have experinced, but I sure hope it wasn't worse than that.

What it like this? I don't think mine were associated with SP though.

Yes, im pretty sure that would be a charlie horse.
to get rid of them you have to completly strech out you muscle by bringing your toes and and stretching them back as far as you can, it may hurt a bit more but it gets rid of them. (but i couldnt do this cause of sp
) Oh and never point your toes (like a ballerina) cause that makes it worse.
And yes they are a cause of low potassium.
