Thread: Zombie Dream

I am also a zombie movie buff I have had a couple of zombie dreams, but never felt pain in those dreams (I've actually never been in physical contact with a zombie in my dreams, I guess I've read the survival guide well enough haha). I have had dreams similar to this though. I had one where some friends and I were in a military compound having the shit beaten out of us by some guards. It hurt incredibly, and even when I woke up and was no longer in pain I couldn't get over the fact that I'd essentially survived a severe beating without a mark on my body... especially because I've never been beaten before and all the physical feelings were new to me. It's one of the dreams I will remember for the rest of my life.

A few nights ago I had a dream that I was in the zombie apocalypse and these zombies were the cause of my wifes death. I also remember in this dream I was in this mechanical armor ala Iron man and started killing zombies left and right.

I used to play an online game called 'Urban Dead', which was all about zombies, and in the same period of time i watched '28 days later' and then '28 weeks later' also.

So i had a few zombie dreams =P

This one particular dream will stick with me the rest of my life. Nothing happened in it whatsoever, all it was, was an image of my RL girlfriend's face, filling most of my vision, in full colour and immense detail, with just darkness in the background, and my view was directly towards her.

But she was a zombie sort of thing. And she had ripped up, bloodied cheeks which were cut into a kind of 'lattice' so it was like her cheeks were covered in holes and i could see into the darkness inside her mouth though these cheeks. Her eys were like, hollow, and her face was basically a sickening mess.

I woke up with this image so clear in my mind, and i felt physically sick, to the extent that i gagged. And whenever I recall this image, I feel the same sickness, it was the most vivid image i have ever felt in a dream. I would call it a nightmare, even though it wasn't frightening as such, just absolutly gut-wrenchingly horrible.

Pretty amazing though

Another zombie dream i had around the same time as above, was a much more action packed one

Basically it was your typical movie, i was with a group of survivors and was driving around trying to find a non-zombie invested house to stay the night in. We eventually got into a tower block, which was full of other survivors, but we found out it was a bit fucked up in that there were a few bad guys who oversaw everything in the tower block and were like, in charge, and they raped people all the time, and all the people seemed miserable and in poverty. So we got out of there.

Then i think we found a house, quite a nice house, and i think i was going through their things to find the keys to their 4x4 outside, which i did manage to find. Then i remember driving through a town till i got to a military base, and breaking into that, and stealing another car, and driving round the base really fast and erratically whilst the soldiers shot at me.

I had one too. Except I was turned into a zombie when some murderer stabbed me, and I didn't feel it. ^^

I have zombie dreams upon occasion. I never get bit or anything, though; I'm usually fast enough to escape them. On one occasion, in fact, I actually 'heard' the typical horror movie music playing as I was escaping a group of zombies pursuing me.
