A Childhood Nightmare
I remember when I was a kid, maybe from ages 5-9, I had one really creepy dream for a number of times. The family situation back then wasn't the best-- my older sister wasn't getting along with my parents at all, but I think the nightmares stopped before it climaxed. I'm a female.
The nightmare always went like this: I was being chased, always, by a long, thin woman with pale skin. She had long, red fingernails, red hair, and wore a flowing, strapless red dress. For some reason, I knew she wanted to kill me, or at least harm me. For some reason, I knew I had to run away from her. She chased me for a while, and then we came to a long staircase. I would always jump from this staircase and would end up flying down it-- this staircase had red carpeting, as well. The room was a dark red color. Then, for the rest of the chase, I would be flying instead of running. Finally, when the woman's long nails were scraping my back, I would wake up. I was sure there would be scratches down my back, but there never were.
What was the significance of only flying after reaching the staircase? Why was everything red? And why did I always have this dream?

red
I got this off a site, "Red
Red is an indication of raw energy, force, vigor, intense passion, aggression, power, courage and passion. The color red has deep emotional and spiritual connotations.
Red is also the color of danger, shame, sexual impulses and urges.Perhaps you need to stop and think about your actions"
I hope you can connect to that.

hmm..
I'm no expert, but i have had reocuring dreams of being chased since i was little. I'm pretty sure that the're a sign of an unstable living environment. Have you had these since you've grown older? Mine dispersed once i got to about 10-11 or so.

Dream of the Devil
As a child I used to have a dream about meeting the Devil, and being in hell. I was glad when I awoke.
