Thread: Thank God it was a dream.

Only when something embarassing or socially devastating happens in a dream. Usually I don't mind the gruesome and scary dreams, they're kind of fun.

Oh, it's not particularly cool when I dream about life with certain friends or family members dead. It's not dreaming of them dying that's bad, but going through the dream as if I was living life without them.

I used to get them, but since I started reading up on LDing, I have super menu powers!
i.e. I used to have dreams when I got shot, and I would wake up suddenly, but recently, during one of my last recorded dreams, I was sneaking into Auschwitz, and got shot. I opened up the "menu" screen and reloaded the dream. It was really weird, but it happened once when I got my head bit off. They're both in my DJ.

Anything where I'm forced to kill people or the things (pets maybe) that I love. Those are always a little hard to cope with. It doesn't happen all that often, but when it does, it sure leaves an impact upon waking.

Yes, that's happened to me. Generally it's when something terrible happens or I do something I regret. Like once when I dreamed I was in prison, or another time when I dreamed I sold my soul to the devil.

very, very rarely. I usually don't get afraid of my nightmares. But lately I had one dream in particular that I said this.

It was of a kidnapper who took my kids and I chased him to his house with my wife. We were too late. Me and my wife battled him though. Too bad I didn't get lucid...I would of crushed him into a little ball and put him in a blender!

The last few nights i have this dream where is bash my head really hard, It really hurts ALOT.I also sometimes dream that i am thrashing around in bed.

Every once in a while I (a male) dream that there are men who intend to sexually molest me. At the very last second, though, I always wake up. It's curious, too, because I'm not homophobic even in the slightest, have never been sexually molested, and even have gay friends.

I kid you not. I blacked out in the bathroom last Sunday morning, about 6am. I woke up a little later with blood pouring out of a gash in my eyebrow. I felt nothing, of course, but (unlike this thread title) I wish it really was a dream

Not very often. Usually only when my property is being destroyed or when I'm in embarassing situations.

More often than not, I usually wake up wishing that my dream was real.

I did have a few of those this month. I was so glad that it was just a dream and was actually glad that I was back to reality.

I had one with a friend dying. That one was one of those.

I have those. One was when a killer was hunting me and friends, and another was when I killed my little cousin

I'm always really happy when I wake up, but usually I'm in a bad mood the rest of the day.
