      weird reoccuring dream

      hi everyone im new here,i was hoping to get some help with a reoccuring dream well heres the dream,im over at one of my good friends houses we go four wheeler riding and come upon a very large muddy creek with fast flowing water,well my friend decides to jump in just when he does he sees a huge alligator,and then i spot a huge shark,well he gets out just when he gets out we notice in the middle of this creek a little kid and the shark and gator are going after him,some old guy comes up and asks us are yall gone try and save him we both say no(which is not like me at all i woulda been panicing trying to find out how to save this kid) but then the guy just drives away and me and my friend just stand there and watch then when the shark almost gets to the kid i wake up,ive had this dream like 4 times now and it wont go away its exactly the same everytime,i was hoping someone could help me to understand it well thx to all.

      maybe it was because of some strogn movie you watched

      movies have that effect on people


      maybe you saw a similar situation somewhere, and at the time decided you wouldn't hep the child... and now that's kind of killing you inside

      anyways I'm not a Dr. Kromoh Freud so hear some other opinions aswell

      Well i can suggest something you could maybe do to stop these dreams reoccuring, i have two ideas for you, when you next have a lucid dream, wish the reoccuring dream into existence and play it out, but this time do it differently, save the kid and make yourself feel good inside, you have complete control, another idea is some meditation, sit down, relax and play the scene over and over in your mind, but see it happening differently, with this power of suggestion it may just happen and you will feel happy because things are done differently, hoped that helped

      Perhaps getting the dream out in the open will make it stop. I had a recurring dream that went on for ages, but when I wrote about it, it has never returned since.
