Thread: When I was sick as a child

Whenever I would fall ill between the ages of 5 and 7, I would always have the same nightmare.
I would be alone and everything would be blank. Completely white, you can see no angles or shadows.
Then the rumbling would start and giants would start to appear and they would try to stomp me. Every stomp would shake the ground and I would try and run and could never get my balance or bearings.
Eventually, a little girl would always appear. Best I could describe her would be like a clone of Shirley Temple. A little redheaded 6 yr old. She would rush in to grab my hand and navigate me through all the giants and when I was safe I would wake up and my fever would break.
