Headphones are one of those investments where you pretty much get what you pay for. I'd be focused on features: cord length, volume control, adjustability, etc. Get what fits your needs and spend as much as you're comfortable with.
My headphones just broke, and I'm stuck with iPod earbuds that look like they were digested by a cat. I want some decent headphones that actually cover your ears, nothing that reaches into your brain. I don't care much for noise canceling because, if the headphones are big enough you can't hear anything around you anyway. Also, I don't want to spend more than $80. Anybody know anything good?

The only pair you'll ever need.
I'm pretty sure it has a volume adjust button too. And it won't blow your budget.![]()

Such a shame this has to end, things are out of his command.

I use Sony Dynamic Stereo Headphones MDR-V150. They cover your ears and sound pretty good. The cord is kind of long and it came with an adapter that i can plug into my guitar amp. They sound a lot better than the in-ear headphones. When you listen to the virtual haricut video on youtube it sounds really good. I'd say they're pretty decent for $20 at Target.
