i have the game too... its very fun & realistic

if you can install the controller to any other game then it's probably installed...

have you tried it yet? it should be automatic

no i havent tryed yet because its a wireless controller, so what i was wondering is, is there a way to connect it, is there an adapter of some sort, or a cable youcan get or what? and by the way, i know you can definetely use an xbox controller because the controls for it are in the instructions.

ohh do you mean normal xbox? because now-a-days xbox = xbox 360

wat are you talking about, i didnt even know you could get a wireless normal xbox controller, of course its xbox 360. ill ask the question again to make it clear:

i want to use an XBOX360 controller for flight simulator x, i know that it is possible to use it. i want to know how you connect the controller to the laptop, is there a cable you can get for it? or is there a wireless adapter for it?

i just wanted you to know what i was asking. but it doesnt matter anyway because i found on the internet a wireless adapter which you just plug into the laptop/pc and you can use any of the xbox 360's wireless accesories.

I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm playing this regularly as I'm taking a pilot course starting in November and I will be on this simulator nearly everyday for months.
I'd love if you guys wanted to hook up for a few flights in smaller planes such as the Cessna 172.
Since I'm learning for real I will be quite boring, as in, flying properly.

wow huge bump!

i would, but i cant be bother re-installing something that runs pretty slowly on my comp.
and, i wouldnt use a cessna myself, i would be using the starship enterprise. or maybe a star wars X wing.

Why not fly with a joystick? More realism and quite comfortable.

i was actually looking for a cheap method of doing it. and getting a joystick aint cheap.

and i already had an xbox controller aswell, so that like halfs the price, or maybe more than half.

but not that it matters anyway because this thread was made a long time ago. i dont even use the game any more

i love flight sim mods, they were the only thing keeping me in the game. you could fly out of the atmosphere in the starship enterprise at mach 3 i think (but it was advertised as warp 8 or something)
