      javascript not loading

      This is annoying but whenever i view a page with java script it says it has loaded but the indicator just stays as loading and I can't view any content. It's annoying because i want to check my youtube messages but can't since they are run on javascript. I use firefox BTW

      There's a fair few spyware / browser hijacking combos that work by intercepting javascript calls (logging form submissions, etc.)

      Recent alterations to firefox have closed off this avenue, and forbid the redirection of javascript calls (unfortunately, pages don't timeout - but seem to just hang)

      Can I suggest you scan for spyware (spybot S&D)

      Additionally, there's been a few sites cropping up recently that intentionally fail to operate if they detect the browser is blocking ads (The ad serves an advertisment and in addition some vital piece of operational code - blocking the ad renders the page non-functional - seen this on crappy sites, haven't heard of any reputable sites doing this)

      spybot didn't do much it still isn't working. but java script works with IE but i hate IE lol
