      The whole "Linux successfully installed on [humorous inanimate object]" has been done at least twice before

      Back in 2000, IBM showed off a wrist-watch running Linux

      this spawned a whole heap of spoof articles

      It happened again in 2004 - I can't remember what set it off (may have been that linux running petrol pump? - can't remember)
      but the spoof articles were rehashed in 2004
