      How do I get a video to be converted to a GIF so I can work with it in Imageready?

      Maybe it would help if you knew what I was trying to accomplish.

      I got some footage of the action with President Bush dodging those shoes. What I want to do is edit it so that it doesn't show the shoes, but instead shows IMMA FIRIN' MAH LAZOR!!1!, and Bush dodges the lasers instead.

      Is this possible? I was thinking of converting the avi to a gif and back to an avi. I want to keep the sound, so this can be posted on youtube.
