Journals like Dracula? Sounds cool.

Kinda wondering what my fellow NaNoWriMo-ers are up to, without having to slog through the *incredibly* busy forums of the official site. So yeah, just post your synopsis, your word count, excerpts, whatever you like.
I'm at a total word count of 3680, and I started just yesterday. The general plot is about an upper-class guy who gets stuck on an island in a terrible fishing accident, and fights for survival. The story is told from his point of view, via a journal. The plot itself is slightly less than realistic, but that's what December is for, right?![]()

My NaNoWriMo project doesn't exist. I was planning on doing it, but then Halloween came, and... I just forgot. ^^'
My NaNoWriMo was originally supposed to be a novel about a group of people travelling into the centre of Australia to witness the Second Coming of Jesus, but then a whole lot of retarded sub-plots got in the way, and now it seems to just be a general road trip novel about a few people doing ridiculous shit. I hadn't planned it that way, but whatever.
18000 words right now, well ahead of schedule.
A turd with a bullet in it ain't exactly 5 O'Clock News Ray

I have absolutely no idea what mine is about, but it involves a roadtrip (totally different from Kiza's, of course), probably some Yeti, maybe buried treasure, and a lot of silly meaningless dialog.
I'm just over 1,000 words, but I just started tonight. Will write more before bed, and post somewhere.
