I've always used Instruments as my debugging tool, but I'm now writing cross-platform applications and Valgrind looks even more powerful than Instruments. I need to know how to use it. MemCheck looks easy, I'm more interested in the thread debugging since once apps go past four or five threads, debugging gets to be nearly impossible.
