Thread: Chapter Writing Department

i think it would be a great idea that when talking about lucid dreaming in the correct section, we should put quotes from actual DV members.

such as journal entries or simple statments

Checking in myself, I want to let you guys know, my chapter should be done sometime this weekend at the latest.

Hey guys. If any of you have been wondering where I've been for the past forever, I've had my computer broken. This is the first chance I've had to touch the internet since, seeing as I don't really go to other people's houses much, (and my computer is still broken.) I've been concerned about my book project staff duties and wanted to let ya'll know. Further, I will be driving across Canada and most the country to get to my new state, (Alaska is a thing of the past, get any last cracks you can in right now,) and will be gone another 2 weeks, but I'm staying with some friends who are scattered across the continent along the way and will try to get you guys some updates on their computers. I should be back to partial activity within the next two weeks and full activity, (that is updating ya'll on my writing and getting tasks assigned to me,) within the month. I have been getting more work done, but am unable to show you! Thanks guys, and sorry about the trouble!

Just to tell I've been working mostly on the Research Dept, with the main reason being me thinking it's the dept that deserves most attention right now.

As I've said in a previous post of mine (I think), I wanted to write an appendix about meditation, with 3 specific mindsets: awareness (to improve dream vividness and general awareness), self-hypnosis (extremely useful for techniques like MILD, but also useful for recalling dreams), and concentration (useful for WILDing). As I said, this would be an appendix - non-essential stuff, but interesting to have.

Sounds interesting Kromey. The usefulness for a chapter like that is quite apparent. I've been regularly updating the DoI until you get back btw. Hope you're enjoying your trip. ^_^

All right, Ca1um unfortunately had to drop from the project, which means I need someone else willing to write Chapter 2 for me. Any takers?

I'll probably be doing the chapter on recall & journaling, but if someone else wants to do it just let me know. Only reason I'm picking it up is that I've already got some stuff I've done on the subject that I can use.

Need help with Chapter 2 and/or 4. Anyone?

Checking in to say that I may wait for a few new writers to show up regarding these chapters. But it's quickly looking like I'll be taking over Chapter 2.

I can start writing some of ch. 2 soon if help is still needed, just had to finish up some other stuff.
