Setting Up for my First WILD

I have had no luck really with DILDs (not that I wont still give it a 100 percent effort) but it seems like WILD may be more of a sure fire thing (correct me if im wrong). Ive read threads and everything how to do WILDs, but how exactly will I do it? I know that I wake up about an hour and a half between dreams. So will I set an alarm at an hour and a half from when I go to sleep? Say I go to sleep at 10, should I set it for 11:30? And what are some things that would work as a clock? My alarm clock will keep going and going, and is extremely obnoxious. Phone alarm, pretty much the same deal. Should I look for an alarm that shuts off after a certain time? Any common household timers or something that would do the trick?

      Thanks .

My phone has a "reminder" option on it. You can set it to be a one off beep, a full on alarm, or just vibrate a few times. Maybe your phone can do something similar?

hmm, you could try putting your phone in a sock, not sure how that is different from lowering the voice though

You could just turn your alarm off as soon as you wake up. Hopefully people won't get too annoyed with you. Especially since, if you're going to bed at 10, you'll want to set your alarm for around 2:30 or 4:00. It should be a multiple of 1.5. The later in the night, the longer your REM period is, so it'll be easier to WILD.

Last night, (actually, more like this morning) at the end of my most vivid dream, I woke up. I realized this, and kept still, and kept my eyes closed. I felt partial paralysis, but NOTHING ELSE. I sat there for about a half an hour, and gave up. Is the trick to wake up DURING it? Or do you think that I woke up too late to WILD? I woke up normally, but should I be WOKEN up?
