      WILD Question (am I Close?)

I posted this up at a different section but nobody answered, so i thought i would post it in the right spot.........

I am attempting to TRY to Lucid Dream again after a while of just taking a break. Last night I was attempting to WILD while listening to a mp3 that helps with Lucid Dreaming.

I layed there for about 30 mins when i started to feel my body become lighter and almost start to sink through my bed. My eyes were seeing all sorts of stuff as it is normal through the process of trying to WILD.. The only thing I am confused about is, when all the HIGH images happen, my eyes tend to feel very very light, and pretty much try to open by themselves. I have to try to keep them closed.. If i open them, I am still there laying in my bed.

What is going on? am I close to a WILD or what? How do i overcome this "Light" eyelid situation?

      thank you

      Hey, I received your message.

That thing with your eyes, it never happened to me. I can tell that you're really close to entering the dream state (the "high" images), but I'm afraid I can't help you with the eye problem.

The pressure from a sleep mask would help. This has only happened to me when I first started with a DEILD.. I didn't think to much of it and I was in my dream shortly after ( It was light out too).

Yeah, it sounds to me that your really close to a WILD. Unfortunately, I can't really help you with the eyelid situation either. Hellohihello had a good suggestion though; try using a sleep mask maybe. That could possibly help quite a bit.

They shouldn't be, but REM strains the eyelids, sometimes they may be partially open, which is why for WILDs you may want a mask or have the covers over your head.
Hey, just found this in another thread called "eyes open in SP?" and found this post made by Ninja9578.....

I have the exact same problem, but I've invested in a sleep mask and am going to try that now. night.

Ok Well, I've been trying to do some WILD's the past couple of nights. I ended up smoking a joint a couple hours before bed, and I haven't smoked weed in a while now.. I only do it MAYBE once a month if that.... So I stayed up for a bit, jammed out to some tunes, and I am like okay, time for bed....

So i lay down, tv on at a low volume, plugged in some small head phones and listened to a LD induction mp3.. Almost right away I entered SP.. maybe a few minutes after laying down or so. I dont know if it was the drugs or myself telling me that I was going to WILD but it was like dude, tonights the night...

The next part I can only describe to you as going on a rollercoaster.. My body is in SP, and I feel like my mind is about to "Blast Off" into a WILD and be in "Outer Space" (or the dream) and once I get the feeling of blasting off and to open my eyes.... I didn't...........

I believe I missed my point to open my eyes and finally have one, because as soon as that feeling went away, all wave of negativity hit me..for some reason I said I wasn't going to WILD now that I missed my chance... I had a couple more close chances after that, but nothing to that extreme....

I also found out, although it causing lighting, that having a tv on low volume and just have background noise helped me... Sort of like help me invision my dream and stuff like that...

      Anyways, that is about it...
