yes I am bumping this. What the fuck? Why are people so afraid to watch a video about a possible

cure for cancer?

How about you put some effort into making threads, instead of just posting a link and 5 words? A summary, an opinion, maybe something to spark a discussion. Threads like these are what cause cancer.

You can't just expect people to watch a 1 hour long documentary, without a short summary. This is not how a forum works. If you want people to actually watch, you need to give an introduction. Do that, and I might actually be bothered with watching the whole thing.

Hmmm. That sounds too wierd to be true at first, but I personally know of certain diets that can get people off of insulin, (for diabetics,) and Iother diets that reduce the risk of all kinds of diseases. So cancer isn't a stretch as far as preventative medicine. If it is claiming to cure progressed Cancer, however, I am going to need some really, really good data to believe it. Interesting, anyway. Is there a link with just the stats and data that can at least give me an idea of the thing rahter than watch an hour long doc.?

I remember seeing a TV program about a compound someone discovered that produced remarkable results in killing cancer cells in initial studies, but no pharmecutical company would sponsor further research because the compound wouldn't be profitable enough. Anyone know what this was?

It's just I don't have much at stake, personally, when it comes to cancer. So I know that if I end up watching it, I will just skip around to get all the facts, anyway. I just don't think I'll watch the whole thing unless I get really interested. I'm sure there are some papers/short essays written on the topic if it cures cancer.

I don't think a summary or even your own opinion on the subject is too much to ask for a hour long video, Nomad. If you want discussion on a topic, its good to add some yourself. If you are just trying to "get the word out", then I think the massive link in your signature should suffice and we can get rid of this thread.

I have not seen one person discuss the video.

How about watch the video first, then comment?

You have to sell it better than that. Most people on DV (ok, maybe just me) have 20 minutes to go through some threads during breakfast, and then have shit to do in real life... you know... like... out there. You have to convince us that THIS one-hour video is actually worth watching. And "because it's a possible cure for answer" is just not a compelling argument, because look what happens when I search youtube for possible cure for cancer:

Are you saying I should watch over 100 thousand videos? Why is YOURS better than the other 106,999? You need to provide some facts that would establish some degree of credibility, interest, and spark a conversation that would inspire people to watch it.
