something wrong with my bones or something

      a couple of things:

      1) my wrist hurts a lot when i play guitar, and i think it was caused by playing guitar. it also hurts in the morning, then i get used to it throughout the day.
is anyone familiar with this problem, which i think is related to playing guitar?

2)when i bend my knees it really really hurts. i basically cant bend them. when i say bend them i mean the full way. like if i were to do the water sport, kneeboarding, i would be in a lot of pain. and i cant sit on my knees the full way down either.
      what is that all about?

and how can i help these problems?

Do your hands get tingly at all?

Could be, if you ever lift anything heavy, the way you're doing it. How do you sit often? Do you do any heavy lifting? Etc.

No my hands don't get tingly. It's just my left wrist feels sore, feels like the actual joint. It also feels like it would help if I were to sort of click it by bending it or pulling it. But that didn't help.

And I don't really do any heavy lifting.
And I just realised there it isn't my knees that hurt, it's the top of my leg, like the muscle on the top feels like it's being streched too much

I have the first problem, and I've been told that it just takes some experience. How long have you been playing guitar, and how often do you practice? I only get it when I play power chords for extended periods of time, it seems like keeping my finger positioning in that stance for too long puts stress on a certain part of the joint and it ends up feeling really tense and hurting. I've heard from other people though, that after time and practice this usually fades as your joint will strengthen.

About the second problem, you may just have bad knees, or even arthritis or something. The only thing I can think of to tell you, is that some supplements like calcium or magnesium might be beneficial to you, you may have some sort of a deficiency.

Your wrist problem might be a carpal tunnel syndrome in its early phase.
The tissue in your wrist gets inflamed as a result of repetitive stress. It swells and compresses a nerve that runs through your wrist. This causes pain and 'needles'.
It's very common with guitar players and people that type a lot.

My mother had it on both of her wrists and it got better after surgery.
I had problems with it too, but it wasn't as bad. Now it doesn't hurt anymore.

I have also problems with my joints, notably wrists and knees. I think it is pretty much straining them too much because my training. I too play guitar and my wrist can ache a lot because too much of playing.

However, my family has also a history of rheuma so I suspect I have a chance to have that too. At least my joint's health point to that direction and my mother and grandmother have same kind of joints.

Could be any of the above mentioned too.

Sounds like Carpul Tunnel, that's why I asked slash. I'm guessing it happens when you wake up in the morning too sometimes right?

Yeah, what happens is your wrists bend or have weight put on them while you sleep and causes further inflammation, thus making the Carpel Tunnel worse. It can help to wear a wrist brace at night while you sleep.

Rest your wrist for a while and take some anti-inflammatory meds, like Ibuprofen. If the pain doesn't go away after a few days of resting the joint, go see a doctor. They can give you some super ibuprofen, a cortisone shot, or a brace. You don't want to overdo it and risk permanent injury.

It sounds like your knees are just a little tight. Try a few stretches to limber them up.

You don't have any weird bumps on your joint, do you? I have a ganglion cyst on my left wrist (sounds worse than it is) and it causes me discomfort sometimes. I think I got it from diving into the bushes at my friend's old sorority.

For your knees: anti-inflamatories (ibuprophen) and ice. This will dull the pain, now for physical therapy to fix the problem, you may need a specialist. Most likely, your feet are pointed too far in or out and it puts strain on your knees. I had the same problem and it took about a year of perfecting my walking, jogging, and running technique to fix the problem.
