Horible nightmares I used to have as a kid

When I was age 5-10 i used to have these terribly vivid nightmares about my parents getting killed before my eyes and you not being able to do anything about it. All of a sudden a huge feeling of insignificance comes over you and makes you feel like you've been covered with ice water then I realized that I can not change anything. I had knowledge of this happening before hand and I had to do something to save them. The world was entirely black and I saw the outline of the planet like there was an eclipse and the world keep getting smaller and smaller. What could these have meant. They happened regularly for about 5 years.

I remember having a similar recurring nightmare around that age. it was similar except the way theyd die was because one of my close family members would get possessed by an "evil eye" (that sorta looked like the eye from yu-gi-oh relics). i always figured it was because i didnt trust them much or appreciate them much (since i was possessed in them often. That being said, had i asked someone else what that meant, they would have given me a generic answer like "its because your afraid of change coming and taking over your life". You can ask for a brainstorm of ideas, but its essential to at least know something about you at that time to give a guess. Try decoding it yourself first,since you knew yourself better than any of us. Otherwise, the more personal things you tell us about yourself, the better ideas people will be able to offer.
