Although in order to provide a more accurate interpretation it would usually be best to have some additional general background information about you (and a description of events just before the dreams), it looks like an attitude and way of acting of some kind is tending to get out of balance from the point of view of the dreams.
This is based on the idea that dreams generally perform the role of a kind of “psychic balancing” just like the body maintains a physical balance among temperature, sugar in the blood etc. etc.
Similar to the way in which we should pay attention to physical symptoms which are noticeably unusual, so too it’s best to pay attention to dreams which stand out for whatever reason.
Dreams use analogies and metaphors to express their meaning, so your first dream starts out by making the location a music festival, suggesting that the area of your psyche related to feelings and values is meant to be looked at.
The indoor garden could have connections with the idea of “soul” and to a “contained wholeness” which has to be “cultivated” diligently.
Perhaps the fact that apparently you never do hear any music at the festival indicates being cut off too often from various natural reactions and feelings.
The cause of this appears to be that you’re possibly always “high” on one substance or another, whether representing a physical or psychological “substance” or maybe a combination of both.
Another word for alcohol is “spirits”, maybe suggesting that, along with your various antics in the dream, there’s a certain imbalance going on where you’re maybe not connected enough with natural instincts in a controlled enough way.
One definition of a hallucination is “The mental state of being deceived, mistaken, or deluded; an unfounded idea or belief, an illusion”.
In your dream, you even apparently believe that you can control “a mental state of being deceived, mistaken, or deluded” but this isn’t likely the case.
For example, rather than “controlling” the hallucination of the dinosaur, it’s probably more a case of its “carrying you along”, probably symbolizing that a very basic and “primitive” drive etc. is perhaps in danger of becoming too powerful.
This situation is apparently fuelled and made worse by “intoxicating substances” (e.g. you’ve have two beers but decide to have another one).
You then enter a shower which symbolically could symbolize the need for a “cleansing” of any such problem, but although you discuss this with your brother (probably representing another aspect of your personality), he doesn’t seem interested for some reason.
Also, any potential “cleansing” of an unhelpful attitude or belief etc. could be undermined by a wish to always try to escape reality as it is, e.g. you hope that a bottle there contains hash oil pills.
Instead, the bottle contains perfume, maybe hinting at the idea that you could be too taken in by a “sweet smell” of delusion that doesn’t represent reality as it is.
If so, this could be doubly dangerous because, unlike hash oil pills, the “perfume” could seem innocuous and mainstream as it were, leading you to perhaps be drawn even further into self-delusion of some kind.
The dream might be showing this as a strong possibility because the next scene has you among your family and acting in an extremely intoxicated way.
Climbing a 90 foot pole while intoxicated could lead to a bad fall, suggesting that maybe you’re tending to overrate certain abilities or capacities etc. while in a “delusional state” of some kind.
While with your family at the historical village, you’re also shown as blacking out and vomiting without knowing it, possibly pointing to the idea that others around you could be aware of certain issues which you’re not very conscious of or don’t want to face.
Perhaps your brother has an attitude or outlook etc. which would be good for you to have yourself but it might be hard for you to accept that fact (e.g. you want to leave with your brother but you have to chase after him).
In dream two, going back to college and the essay with the good points in it might symbolize a need to learn more about various attitudes etc. which might be affecting you in a negative way too unconsciously.
The mountain is probably a reference to your overall potential as a person, a kind of center which needs to be “scaled” by hard work and constant attention.
The presence of your mother on the bus could again express a need to get back in greater touch with your feeling side in general.
The possible obstacle of allowing illusion to dominate your attitude too much which could get in the way of “learning more” and to getting more in touch with your feelings is then apparently presented in the form of a bar right there on campus along with the topless girl who you find attractive.
But the good thing is that you leave the bar because it’s too early in the day, probably showing that there’s a good chance for you to become more strongly aware of certain attitudes and behavior which could apparently cause some problems in the long run.
Anyway as mentioned, without knowing anything much about you, this way of looking at your dreams might not fit your personal circumstances very well, but I hope these ideas can be helpful in some way.
Please feel free to ask any questions or to make any comments about this particular way of looking at your dreams.
