I've been having a couple of dreams now and then where no matter what happens to me in the dream, I don't die and wake up. Here are a few examples from my Dream Journal. |

Oof.

I have become quite interested on the layers of lucidity, and I use them to measure how lucid a dream is. For more information on these layers, click here.
Once you realize you are invincible within your dreams, you can bring this talent into your lucids as well. For example, once time in a lucid I stood up up in a firefight with semi-auto guns blazing from both sides. I tanked all the enemy damage so my side could gain the edge in the fight. I took all the enemy's bullets in my body without dying. |

Being invincible is also a good way to piss off DC's who are trying to kill you xD |
|
But still, why exactly am I invincible? o.O |

Oof.
I think it has to do partly with video games, but not totally. Dying in dreams justs resembles an expectation of death. If you are in doubt about death, or when dying you question yourself "am I dead or what?" it keeps you alive. If you are totally sure in a dream that you will die with no doubts, then you will probably wake up. I have it too, especially in lucids, I can't die, though it's also a good way to become lucid |
