Physical manifestations in the waking world

I recently experienced this phenomena and am curious about others experiences with it as well and whether it is indeed a common occurrence.

I only recall a fragment of the specific dream, which was non-lucid, but I was being chased by a pack of wolves. Prior to waking, one of the wolves caught me by the heel of my right foot and actually tore aware the entire back of my foot from my heel up to where the foot joins with the ankle.

When I awoke in the morning I had a throbbing, almost unbearable pain in the heel of my right foot up to my ankle that was not present when I went to sleep the prior night. The pain lasted all of the morning (I awoke around 9) and into the afternoon (ended around 1-2pm). There was no sign of physical injury, including a lack of irritation or swelling, on the foot in question.

      Thoughts? Comments?

Hi there - Yes it is more common than you think. the physical manifestation is a confirmation of the intensity of your dream - this would classify it as a power dream that you need to pay attention to. The Traditional interpretation would be that there are signs of a person working against your interests, wihich will cause trouble in your life, and that you are ignoring these signs. You should identify this person and cut them out of your life. The fact that you had a physical manifestation means you should attend to this URGENTLY. You should know that this interpretation can only be 30 percent correct. For 100 percent accuracy go onto Internet Explorer and type in the address bar cosmicdreamer.co and you will get to a site that will give you everything you need to know on dreams and dream interpretation. Hope this helps.

      I had something similar.

I'm not into dream interpretation. I had the "heaviness" in my heart until I got out of bed. I think it's just leftovers from the dream.

Also, people who don't comprehend software use internet explorer. Use firefox or chromium. Also, those who use superior OSes to Windows (Linux) don't have any IE. They use real browsers, like firefox.

If you are into dream interpretation, I'd try to get a couple of views on it from different sources.

Thanks for these thoughts! I'm not really one for dream interpretation, and to tell you the truth, my life has really been coming up roses lately, so I'm not really worrying about any negative influences in it, but I welcome all thoughts and comments! Wanted to get a sense of diverse views on the subject!

Mostly, I was curious as to whether this is a common occurrence among those who post here because I find the idea that something from your subconscious could be powerful enough to manifest itself physically to be utterly fascinating! I guess it should not surprise me too much though, one often hears about those who break out in rashes or lose their hair over stress and what not.

It's never happened to me that I can remember or that I'm aware of. But another possibility I can think of is a reversal of the so-far-mentioned cause and effect. Maybe you, for whatever reason, had the pain first. I sometimes get random pains in my body for no apparent reason which go away after a few minutes or hours, and I assume everyone gets that occasionally. Maybe that's all it was, and you dreamed of a wolf tearing off the back of your foot as an expression of the pain you were feeling. Or you were being chased in the dream, your dream mind became aware of the pain in your foot when it started in real life, and interpreted it as the wolf biting it off. Sort of like when an alarm clock goes off or something in a dream, and it's interpreted in the context of the dream as something else that makes sense, like a bomb ticking down or something.

I guess it is possible that I had a random pain in the middle of the night as I slept and my mind transferred the cause of that pain into a dream image. Pretty good explanation Dianeva!

      Hi DealLaw,
You are mistaken to think the physical pain translated to your dream. Go to the site I spoke of, and download 'The Book' (it's free) and you will get a clear understanding. If you want to know facts, you need to refer to sources where the Authors have a wealth of experience - it's better than taking shots in the dark. Regards.

Hi Dianeva, I read your reply to DealLaw, and ask you to consider something quite amazing in this regard. I stick to what I said to her regarding how her dream translated into a physical pain in the morning. But in your case, where you experience random pains for no apparrent reason - I know exactly what that is, since I have been researching not only dreams, but other aspects of Mind for over 40 years. The random pains you experience from time to time for no apparrent reason stem directly from Cellular Memory! If you want to know more about this, I would be glad to discuss through email. my email address is [email protected]
