      Red face "Tingling" in brain when changing dream course?

      Hi!

      I just wanted to tell you guys about a sensation i had last night when dreaming. This has nothing to do about lucid dreaming since i haven't tried getting lucid in a year or so, and extremely rarely (wrong grammar?) get it now (maybe once this year). I still get loads of semi-lucid dream though, where i find myself realising that i can change stuff and do stuff, and my subconsious self/my own personality steps in and act mostly like i would if i were lucid. So here's the story;

      The past months i've been remembering almost all my dreams for a while after i wake up. This is because i actively think about the dreams after i wake up instead of writing them down like i normally would if i were trying to attain ludicity. Although it isn't as effiecent as a dream journal, it really helps if lucid dreams are not the goal.

      Last night i went to bed and started dreaming as normal. Then, after having multiple "short" dreams, i suddenly landed in a place i'd been before. Sometimes i dream the same dreams that i've dreamt before in the past, often many years ago. This was one of those. I don't remember the exact details anymore since i didn't write anything down (and it was a pretty wild/kinky dream so i don't think i'd share it anyways hehe), but i do remember one thing that i haven't experienced before in a normal dream; A weird tingling in my brain when i changed the course of the dream, like my was working really hard to establish an enviroment when i suddenly changed everything. It happened as i was about to drink a glass of water with eyeballs in it, and i realised that it was just too absurd to be real. That should probably be my cue to go lucid, but instead my brain decided that i rather should go semi-lucid. I jumped up from the chair i was sitting on, and ran into another room. Then it got much stronger. I felt like i was waking up and had to focus extremely hard to maintain control. This also happen every single time i go lucid. Everything went totally blurry and i couldn't focus on anything. The tingling increased more and more and after a minute, maybe 40 seconds i woke up.

      The reason why i felt like i had to share this is becuase it's really cool to see how real all this is. It's just so fun to see ludicity and my training in effect! However, now i have to learn how to focus and get rid of that darn bluriness in my lucid dreams. My brain just can't handle it. If someone out there have any tips for me that i can use now that i am getting into lucid dreaming again, that would be really great. The clock is 4 AM here now, so good night and happy dreaming everyone! (and sorry for the messy writing!)

      I've experienced a similar thing with my recent lucids, not a tingling, but an odd 'sensation' whenever I go lucid. It started off kind of faint, but in my most recent lucid, it took the form of a shaking/growling sensation. As soon as I did my reality check and went lucid, my vision became much clearer right off the bat (almost like that non-lucid fuzziness cleared up), and the dream scene seemed to shake while a loud, muffled roar boomed for about a second. It all happens so fast, and afterwards I stay lucid for a handful of minutes.
      My lucid dreams tend to not be blurry whatsoever, but it's different for everyone. If your lucid dream starts becoming blurry, it's good to stop whatever you're doing or planning on doing and focusing on stabilizing the dream. Plenty of ways to go about it, and you might even find a personal trick of your own to stabilize, but generally it's good to try rubbing your hands, focusing on the sensations around you, and really REALLY examining your environment. The more attention you pay to it, the clearer it should get.
      Anyways, I wish you the best of luck. Hope you have plenty more lucids.

      Thank you a lot for the response, it really motivates me to keep going! I'll be sure to try and focus more next time i go lucid!
