      Getting Vivid.

so my mum and grandad can do this thing where they think of a place to dream of and then they can dream there.
i can do that.... but not as vivid as they do it. my dreams are not vivid at all. im working on it though.
i have been doing rc all i got this morning is a white room with a rainbow or dark brown door.
      any tips would be helpful.

Try to focus on your sensations, like the air on your face, the clothes on your skin, feel the gravity, look a things very tiny details, touch, smell, observe still... several times a day.
I did it during one week, then I had the most mind blowing vivid dream I've never had, in fact the most transcendant lucid dream experience I've had (and I'm beginner, I only had 9 or 10). It's amazing how it works, how the brain generate things, if you'r used to practice ADA or SSILD.
I was sitting in my bedroom, and I looked around, thinking "oh, so that is a lucid dream ? am I dreaming ? It look sooo real..." I took a book and touched the pages, I felt the fibres under my skin.. every details in my room was mind blowing.
I've had regular lucid dreams later (non vivid) but this one was unique.
I mean vividness in lucid dreams, is transcendant.

I have a similar problem. I don't really get lucid dreams though (yet; I've only recently started up again), so I can't consciously pay attention to my surroundings.

I practise ADA due to my meditation practice anyway (so I go by the concept of 'staying present'), but I don't feel like my dreams are all that vivid. However this could just be from out-of-practice dream recall.
