hi! for a couple of weeks, just before i fall asleep, i have a few weird experiences. after i put myself to bed, after a few minutes i hear very loud bangs (very very loud, like the bang from a bomb exploding, but without the echo, and no one else in the room or house hears them). i get scared, wake up and change the sleep position. a few minutes later, the same. recently, i started having different and more dramatic experiences, i fall asleep, and all of a sudden i wake up in fear, with no reason. there isn't happening anything, but i am scarred as hell. tried moving my arms, but couldn't. tried screaming, but couldn't. i don't see shadows, don't hear any voices, but i am really scared in those moments. can someone explain what is happening? and how can i get rid of these moments of fear? or how can i make it into something less traumatic than it is now? pls explain and answer someone who knows anything. thank you! |

You could use them as cues that you might be close to having a WILD. When these things happen, imagine anything happening that isn't at the moment (floating, sinking, bed moving, bed spinning, flying, seeing through your closed eyelids, sounds playing, ect.). When that something you're imagining actually happens it means you're dreaming. If nothing you're imagining happens, do a reality check to see if you're already in a dream. If nothing happens, then continue waiting until you're dreaming. These things you're experiencing aren't always cues that you're close to dreaming, but when they are they are useful for that purpose. |
