How can I fix my lack of senses in dreams and my empty dreamworld?

Hello. I have this problem in most of my dreams.

When I dream, I can't smell, touch, emote, or taste, and when I hear things, it's barely audiable or it's coming from my thoughts. I can usually see with decent clarity, but my dreams are mostly black and white (it's actually quite pretty and melancholic), and I rarely actually see another being, only a distorted shadow or I feel their presence. My dream world is like a ghost town.

Does this mean I'm not aware enough of things and people around me in waking life? I haven't had enough lucid dreams to determine if all of the above normally apply, but the emptiness and colorlessness is a constant. I don't ant to be alone in my dreams all the time.

This does not mean you're not aware enough of things or people during the day. This means at the time you're sleeping you desire or fear being alone and you desire or fear an empty life. You should try lessening your desires or fears for these things to give them less reason to occur in your dreams.

That actually makes a lot of sense, and both of what you said applies to me, so I'll try to work on it. Thanks for the advice; I never considered this being a factor in my dreams.

Something else that might help is to have a proper diet, and make sure and have a daily routine where you go to bed at the same time and wake up at the same time. Your hormones and circadian rhythm will be all over the place if you don't form a regular cycle, which could definitely interfere with your dreams and how well you remember them/how vivid and stable they are. I know I'm not specifically addressing your question, but typically something like this is the first step in overcoming problems like yours.
