      Waking Life Influencing Dream

While I was taking a nap I became lucid and met with my DG Dawn to pass the time. I also ended up seeing link from Majora's mask transformed as a deku monster. It was funny to see him in that form but anyways after that I had a false awakening...where I heard my mom come in the house and call me. Feeling my heart beat a bit fast I became a bit anxious and felt lousy but I did my best to keep calm by getting in a more comfortable position. When I felt calm I began calling my mother in a way I felt was loud enough but she didn't answer me. During that dream I heard something clanging as well.Like a spoon hitting metal or glass so I felt she was cooking but why wasn't she answering me came into my mind. After a bit of waiting I felt myself shift from dream to reality even though I wasn't aware I was dreaming than. Still...I was looking at the same slightly open door I saw from my dream. I have a feeling it wasn't sleep paralysis since I could move but its funny how waking life can make the brain mimic what is happening in dreams so well. After waking up I found out that my mom did call me and I could still hear the clanging of the spoon.

Thinking about this again It sounds like just common sense but I'm reminded of something I read where people have communicated with people who are dreaming for the purpose of research. I faintly recall something where blinking was used to communicate back by the dreamer.
