WHAT?
Theta brain waves occur during REM sleep, and therefore they occur during lucid (and non-lucid) dreams.
Hope this helps.
HAHA, DISREGARD THAT, I'M NOT A NEUROLOGIST. I heard beta waves are in REM.
Actually Beta waves occur primarily in REM sleep. This is the main pointer to the fact that our natural waking states and our sleep states are very similar. Beta waves are fast moving waves normally seen when one is awake. We see theta waves during NREM 2 and the 2 phases of deep sleep. That is what makes REM sleep special; you dont know your asleep. (unless your lucid ;D)
