      a question about dream characters

I was wondering... If you forgot how someone looks in real life, even if you have met that person only once, can you remember it through a lucid dream?

The reason i think this might be possible is because when you haven't seen someone, and you see that person again then you recognize them. you say "ahhh yes, now i remember, he looked like that!" so maybe, somewhere in your brain, you still know how the person looks.

Images of the person are, yes, probably stored unconsciously within your mind, so I'd say yes. But I haven't experienced it for myself.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Is there anyone who has already experienced it, or maybe an experienced lucid dreamer can try this?

Well yes. I sometimes can't recall people's faces or features yet in dreams they're always 100% accurately portrayed (or projected) by my sub-conscience. This has always been the case.

yes, in dreams you know who is also in your dream, without you even have to see them. you just know it is that person. but in lucid dreams you can actually see them with muuuuuuuuuuch more details.

I have never tried, but next time I have a lucid dream I will experiment.

      is it possible? sure!

my question is, how would you distinguish a DC that your brain tells you looks like the face you forgot and the actual face? It's your brain and in dreams it can lie a lot

Even in the best situation if you see that face and if you have an "aha! that's that face!" moment- you are not looking at an external image while awake - you are inside your own mind, and there is no guarantee that the mind will tell you the truth - DC's consistently lie and indeed (nonlucid) dreams themselves are technically "lies/disillusions" - otherwise we would all be constantly having LD's non stop.

TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!
