      dry period :O

when i first started lucid dreaming i had already put a few of my normal dreams in my journal. at first they are hard to remember, but when i write the start of my dream down, the rest comes to me while i am writing. After i had my first LD i started only noting down my lucid dreams, but now i arent having any lucid dreams at all.

the question im asking is, do you think that not journaling my dreams is the cause of my LD lack? or just a factor? i can remember dreams fine but when in my dreams i dont think to stop and think..and lately i havent been remembering them that well either.
      wtf

Well, I can't say whether the change in your journaling habits is affecting your LD frequency -- there are lots of other factors that could be affecting it, like stress, not getting enough sleep, etc...

But I will say, that in my opinion, it's more important to journal your non-lucid dreams than your lucid ones. I believe this mostly because, at least for me, lucid dreams are easier to remember in the first place. Since you are more or less conscious during a lucid dream, it makes sense that it would be more like a conscious memory, and therefore more permanent than a memory of a non-lucid dream.

Of course, I've been too tired, stressed, whatever to journal anything lately, and I'm also in a dry spell from LDs, so what do I know?

Yeah. Sometimes I suffer them, too. Usually, I can remember the LDs within about a week. Until then, I just try to have sci-fis (they are as rememberable as real time). Give it a week!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be way, way too dry? I'll tell you something, you don't want to know.....and I don't know.

hmm, i still had lucid dreams for a few weeks after a stopped journalling my none-LDs, come to think about it i stopped being able to LD right after i read about OBEs and astral projection, dunno if that makes any difference.

has anyone ever wondered why people often wake up a minute before the alarm goes off?

B/c that is your internal alarm going off. Just make yourself hyper b4 going to bed, & then you won't be able to fall asleep until you get SP
