      Sub-conscious dream control?

Last night...er, this morning rather...I had a dream that started off nicely enough, just kinda bizarre...

then it turned nightmarish..only, as soon as it became scary, my dream changed subtly and passed off the frightening parts as some hoax that the people in the dream were pulling as some kind of publicity stunt...horribly mutilated, bloodied bodies became manequins, a giant shark turned out to be a large puppet and a disappearing photo turned out to be a time released chemical...

it was very odd for my mind to alter the dream that way, especially considering that I did not consciously change anything, I was unaware that it was a dream...although they are becoming more vivid and clear.

      sub-conscious dream control?

Yeah i know what you mean about this. its not lucid dreaming its regular dreaming where u dont know that your dreaming. even know it is not a lucid dream, i still can do a great deal of things. the way i move and how i defy gravity in particular. like sometimes when i jump i might jump higher or longer distances. and sometimes i feel no pain, when i should be feeling pain lol. i think sub-conscious dream control actually works, more people need to join this forum, there is so much to talk about!

Yep, sub conscious dream control exists from my personal experience. It happens to me much like what you guys have said, and other times when I was at the peak of my lucid dreaming and dream control, I was actually able to create sub-routines that would automatically alter my dream without me having to waste conscious time changing the dream... for example, I created a sub-routine where if I am off on an adventure, and a character comes into my dream to distract me from my adventure, then that character would be deleted. And this would happen, once I practiced a few times consciously, or lucidly that is, autmoatically at the subconscious level.

My problem was I created so many of these damned subroutines my dreams got boring and I had to un-learn them, wich took a long time.

      I must not fear.Fear is the mind-killer.
      I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
      Only I will remain

      me too!

i had a dream where i almost woke up, realized i was dreaming, and managed to "re enter" the dream. It was sort of like i was dreaming about being lucid, but i changed my scenery and made a person appear and an object appear before waking up. If i wake up in the middle of the night, i like to try to imagine myself into a scene and it usually works although sometimes not the way i hoped lol!
BESSIE THE CROW RETURNS! lol dont ask its a dream i had...

When I dream I am aware of being the dreamer, the dream, and the body lying in bed. I have found that when I create something from nothing it is done with a bright green hue. Anyone else experience this?
