What is the best technique for Lucid Dreaming

Hi, I'm new to Dreamviews btw, so on Monday last week I was jumping throughout the day (lol. even in school when no one was around) and then I just gave up after that thinking that I'll never lucid dream because someone told me that then on Thursday, I had a dream that I was jumping and I was floating down instead of just coming back down but I still didn't realize it, I was in shock when I woke up. So now that I have gotten back into Lucid Dreaming, what is the best technique?

Oh and also, I tried MILD but that didn't work, maybe I didn't do that one right?

There's been a recent study that indicates that Tholey's Method, MILD, and reality checking are the top ones, but you should learn the basics because it's not something you can learn in one day or two, and even the top methods don't induce lucidity reliably. It's all about motivating yourself and wanting a lucid

Give a give to this excelent topic created by Dreamguide Mancon, it will give you an overview of all techniques! Also, you can try this exercise I developed, which will improve your prospective memory and turn you more skilled at MILD, because you'll be more capable of remembering future intentions.

Trying out MILD? This is how you become skilled at it.

You should check out some of the beginner courses. They talk all about methods and induction techniques, and exactly how long it can take for you to get an LD.

Every person has his/her own "best" technique. Try them all and see which one you like the most. All of them takes consistent practice and patience though, you might see quick results if you're really enthusiastic and believe in yourself, but consistent results should be expected after weeks. I used to compare months and when I had practiced for a few months I could clearly see I was having more and more dreams, longer ones too.
