      Movies about LD?

      Hi guys, does anyone out there know any LD related movies?
      I have seen Inception, The Matrix and waking life (good movies!!!).
      Do you know others? Thanks

      None that I know of. Here is a thread that has some movies that are similar to LD. Some say James Cameron's avatar was based on LD, and think he is an LDer.

      There are none that really do it justice.

      Off the top of my head these:

      Vanilla Sky
      Waking life
      Lathe of Heaven (2002 version)
      The good night

      I would say inception but they got everything so wrong about dreaming that it was a huge let down (great as a film but as a lucid dreaming film it just didn't cut it)

      Still, not to sound like a broke record, there's Anamnesis on the horizon, which looks like it'll be AWESOME!!!

      I just watched brazilian movie Nosso Lar - Astral city in English. It's about life in the Astral realm after death. More AP than LD. But I found the images of the astral so beautifull.

      waking life is meh fav...
      sucker punch was so promising, but it failed. It could have been really good with a different director and/or writers.

      And, the books, Alice in Wonderland and its sequel Through the Looking Glass are heavily based on lucid dreams and insanity. More so the second one though...
