Accidental WILD. Plz help i am kinda scared.....

I have been taking a break from lucid dreaming.
The reason being that i don't feel that i have enough time to do it.
I thougth that i was going to start again when the summer break starts.

Lateley i have been feeling kinda wierd, it feels like the world is extremeley "dreamlike".
I have also been day-dreaming a whole lot, when i am not activeley doing somthing that requires a lot of focus i usually just drift off and starts to day-dream. My day-dreams has also becomn more vivid.
I am not even sure if they can be called day-dreams because while i am day-dreaming i am
not aware that i am awake, neither am i aware that i am day-dreaming. The "day-dreaming" state usually lasts from 1 - 20 minutes. On a positive note it seems like i am able to imagine thngs waaay more "clearly".
The day-dream thing was kinda worrying me but not enough to write this.

      This is whats worrying me
(I tried to write it as detailed as i could remember it but i was very very scared when it happened) :

I where home sitting in my bed studying( history ). I was not sleepy nor feeling bad or dizzey.
The clock where like 21:30 or 9:30 in the nigth.

After a while i noticed that i wheren't actually reading, i where just watching the words. I looked up and i saw and i saw a monster standing in my doorway. The monster looked like a hydralisk( if you don' know what it is looks like look at this Hydralisk by cvbtruong on deviantART )
I jumped up and out of my bed and screamt, then i ran out of a door leading to a balcony.
It was raining heavily. It was also thundering.
Then i started crying. After a while i came up with the idea that this migth just be a dream.
I did the nose-plug reality check and it was a dream!
I then tried to wake myself up. It worked after a few tries.

I am 100% sure that this wheren't a normal day-dream. But i am scared that this migth happen again
while i am doing somthing that can go wrong if i suddenly do this. like showering or jogging.

I do not have any ilnesses neither where i under affection of any drugs or anything.

I don't think it's an illness (tell me if I'm wrong, guys, 'cause I'm no doctor). I've heard of people WILDing with their open so that might be what you did. Damn, that's a scary dream though!

      Smiliar stuff happend to me
I guess it might be side-effect of lucid dreams happening too often
After my lucid dreams attempts i've noticed few differences in real world abilities

Maybe when you daydream you're going into a semi-asleep state and the daydreams are HI. Sometimes when I'm going to bed or trying to WILD I'll get HI or dreamlets that are really vivid.

I've heard other people say this, I think it's that your dreams are becoming more detailed and like waking life rather than you becoming unable to tell dreams and reality apart.

This sounds more like a DILD than a WILD, maybe you just fell asleep studying?
