Dream environment changing everytime i open window

Sometimes my dreams start where i went to sleep, in my bed and with the room conditions (lights off, window closed, shades closed). They're mostly WILDs. Because i want to go explore, i always open the shades and see what's in the outside of my house. It's always different. I love it. Sometimes i see a park, other times a city, a landscape, mountains, etc. What i find curious is that, sometimes i find a sad environment, or an apocalyptic environment, sometimes it's dark and raining, other times all i see is a city flooded, or a desert...
I wonder if this has something to do with my subconscious, if there's a reason for sometimes showing me a sunny day and beautiful park full of trees and flowers and sometimes showing me a dark ambient with destruction and bad weather.
Do you know why? Has this happened to you?

That's really fascinating! In my dreams, the area outside of my house is usually roughly the same as it is in real life, though things like the time of day and weather are variable. Maybe it's affected by your mood, or your experiences during the previous day?

Not my mood. As i'm currently on vacations and i have no major worries in life right now. But i have to notice if something happened on the previous day.

Just your subconscious doing what it does best, bringing up stuff from underneath. Maybe there is some meaning in it or it may just be random because alot of factors I feel in our dreams such as the setting is just random and comes out of no where and its what you see is just the result of your wandering mind.

I've had the exact same thing! In a series of LDs of looking out the window, it has gone from normal day, to twilight, to hurricane, to complete darkness; usually happening after FAs.

I think the weather can definitely be an indicator of something meaningful in your dream. Perhaps having to do with the overall message/theme.

Wow, that's interesting! I've never had that happen, sometimes I experiment with opening doors with the expectation that a new scene will be there. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. Although, my surroundings are in a constant state of change as I am progressing though each environment. This is something I'd like to try though!
