Was that my first Lucid (but uncontrolled) dream?

In the night I was saying to myself "I Lucid Dream tonight" Because I read if you say will then your brain thinks anytime in the future. These are both methods I have not tried before: Wake back to bed. And saying a mantra that I would remember it. It is my most remembered dream, although I should have realised it was a dream because I had a man voice and I'm twelve (XD) The dream goes: My mom is in my house, she goes to bed. I go outside, to this creepy huge mansion owned by a corrupt landlord. I sneak in, appears to be no-one home. I find a slave for some reason, and free them. But as we get to the door, loads of men included the owner are sitting around a table discussing someone. We run, and as we reach the gates, I wake up. I thought it was Lucid because I felt like I was actually running and the fact that I had used these new techniques. Sad I didn't realise I was dreaming though.

      Hey there,

To be honest it doesn't sound as though that was a lucid dream. You do, however, seem to have pretty good dream recall which is a very good start. With using the WBTB method and repeating positive affirmations before falling asleep you are very much on the way to having your first LD.

How long have you been trying for?

      Hey!
I dont think you were lucid dreaming. Even you fell that you were runing that doesnt mean that you fully made the transition to lucidity. What I am trying to say is that in a lucid dream you will see better hear better speak noramly. You need to assure yourself that you are dreaming. And even if you one day have a lucid dream you may not be able to manipulate the dream. What I men is you wont be able to make a car appear or a DC. You will now that you are dreaming, but you will go with the flow of the dream, which in some cases is not bad but its not recommenden because you will wake up faster.
      Good luck!
