      Breaktrought in awareness.

Lately i have been practising awareness without realizing it and i have reached to point where everything is starting to feel new to me. I no longer get lost in thought and usually when i want to imagine and think something deeply im still really aware of my surrounding while im thinking something very deeply. My dreams have become extreamly vivid without effort and im somewhat lucid in every dream. Everything feels so much more real to me now and i feel like im in every moment fully.
So this happened to me while just out of intrest focussing more widely on my surrounding. I look around the nature and was giving it more focus how beautifull it really is. Everyday i found i new way of looking at trees, plants and life around me and found new perspectives looking at things. This started to become habit for me and i started enjoy it. I felt more and more grounded to reality trough each day and i felt happier and more entertained about everyday life. I no longer pursue lucid dreaming since im starting to become more intrested in reality. Lucid dreaming is just the side entertainment for me which is still cool for me.

Not too long from now i used to feel like the reality felt kind of dreamy and little bit boring at some times and i was trying to lucid dream to feel something ecxiting again but now i feel more grounded, entertaint and energetic.
If your clueless how to become more aware i have few tips.
Troughout the day try to never get lost in thought, dont try too hard to analyze your surrounding just look around and try to enjoy what you see, each day when your walking/driving to work look at the route your going in different way focus on different things and try to be aware of as many thing as you can without you getting the feeling like its effort to you. Rest you will figure out yourself.

Sounds like Eckhart Tolle to me...nice attitude, keep it up!
I occasionally delve into it as well but have not reached at your point yet...

Welcome to the club man! I too have been practicing awareness for over 3 months now, and im literally semi-lucid in at least half of my dreams every night. Sometimes I'll chose not to be lucid and just roll along with the dream, and other times i just become lucid. Awareness truly is an empowering "characteristic" to oneself once it is brought up to its potential.
If you keep practicing man, I think you'll find yourself in the same situation as me, but maybe you've been at this longer than I have, so I'm not sure. Right now I get at least 1 Lucid Dream a night, and let me tell you man, each one is an amazing experience.

Reality itself may be very entertaining indeed, but from my point of view, it can't compare to the DreamWorld and its possibilities. Its a place where you really are limitless.
Hilary, SearcherTMR and Kairos like this.

"If we doubted our fears instead of doubting our dreams, imagine how much in life we'd accomplish." ~Joel Brown
"Your background and circumstances may have influenced who you are, but you are responsible for who you become." ~Darren Hardy

      Goals:
-Become Lucid in every dream every night
      -Perfect the time dilation watch
-Continue to have a dream plan for most of my lucid dreams

WOW! Just two days into ADA (I started a 30 day trial) and I am already feeling much better. Noticed that it is easier for me to focus on somatosensory perceptions when doing sth else or thinking, while focusing on sight and sound perceptions distract me more from whatever I am doing. Still in the beginning though!
Plus, I also started practicing SSILD (the basic idea of witch also helped my focusing) and yesterday night I had an amazing, very long and vivid LD!
This is amazing since my last LD was three months ago...
I will definetively keep up both practices!
