      Precognitive Lucid Dreams

I have heard about people having precognitive dreams which can predict the future. Honestly, I didn't really believe that people are capable of predicting the future by any means. Then one day I was having a LD:

I was in a recording studio and long story short - a friend of mine appeared there out of a body bag. Strangely as it was her appearing out of a body bag, there was something other "off" about her. She had red hair in my dream (her hair is naturaly light brown). That whole LD was all strange.

Now the interesting part is, she never mentioned to me about a thought of dyeing her hair, so I assumed that was just my imagination imagining her red.
Later, the same day I had this LD, I was at the same studio playing with my friends and she came to visit us there. What I saw left me just speechless... She entered with red hair! At that moment I started asking myself: am I still dreaming and is this just a continuation of the LD I was having?
As it turns out that wasn't a dream.
Now I am a slightly less skeptical about future predictions.

What are your thoughts about predicting the future via dreams?
Do you think my LD was just a perfectly well timed coincidence?
And have you had any precognitive dreams of your own?

I believe dreams are highly creative and are the epitome of imaginative thought. I don't believe that they predict the future in the sense that they are a soothsayer of sorts. They merely show us the preconfigured possibilities that have always existed and will always be. It just so happens that sometimes these occurrences really do occur, and so appear to offer foresight into what will happen next. Really though, it's all a clever holographic superposition of what can be but has not actually happened. A listing of all the possible outcomes. Naturally, some of these outcomes will be what really happens.

I recently had a sort of similar experience, involving an ex-girlfriend that I hadn't seen in a while. One day when I was napping, I had a relatively mundane dream about her. She was getting ready and so forth--putting on make-up, brewing tea etc... but then she picked up her cell phone and dialed. Suddenly, I woke up, and my own phone was ringing. It was her.

We ended meeting for lunch (I didn't even know she was in town at the time), and she was wearing the same necklace I saw her put on in the dream. It was the necklace I gave her, but it had been so long ago that I assumed she didn't even have it anymore.
