50 MG melatonin + android phone + Babbler App for Android = weird voices, morris code, and other

Has anyone ever RECORED themselves at night while they sleep?

      Here is my experience.

I have been taking 50 MG of melatonin a night, with good results.

I decided to add my android phone, and this app Babbler App for Android, which is free, and can record audio automatically if it reaches a certain level.

So I used the settings USE HARDWARE AGC and USE SOFTWARE ACG settings in Babbler App for Android. it makes the mic more powerful

I take my melatonin, I fall asleep.

I wake up the next morning, there are about 100 or so audio files recorded through out the night. some is just me moving, some just recorded with no real audio sound in the file, but something seems to have triggered the recording.

Babbler App for Android arranges them nice and you can see the waveform, how big the file is, and when it was recorded.

      I found out, that I snore ( I never knew I did)

Also found I talk in my sleep (never knew that either)

I also found, other voices in certain recordings, some kind of morris code like beep (communication from another dimension? or maybe my brainwaves interfering with the recording since the flash card is magentic....) it not random beeps, they have a kind of order to the beeps. im not morris code expert but I wish I knew one

it kind of freaked me out, because I I hear faint voices in the background, that isnt me, sometimes while I was speaking in my sleep...sometimes alone.

I also heard footsteps and other movement and strange sounds in my room...

This is not the first time I've read something like this, one woman was so freaked out by what she heard (she posted her recording on reddit) that many people think she was the subject of a home invasion. Her recording also had very loud clicks in it. That and your beeps could possibly be artifacts of the recording process (or not!).

I think one possibility is that the human voice is very malleable, and we can produce sounds that are far, far away from our regular voice.

Or, they're astral travelers hanging around us when we sleep. Or worse.

Or, it's the makers of this app screwing with us and just dropping in random scary sounds to freak us out.

I really hope it's that. I'm about to go to bed and am now officially freaked out.

Well maybe others should try this.

most people have a phone....either iphone or android and there are many apps like that record automatically.

Im surprised no lucid dreamers have recorded their audio at night....

the clicks I hear might be some kind of code...sounds like morris code, I think I need to find a morris code expert.

also, I have learned I talk in my sleep so I think I will start recording myself more every night. Im curious as to what im saying

What is also freaking me out is the amount of Melatonin you take.
I am reading the yuschak's book about supplements and is talking about 0,33mg, 50mg is more than 100x this amount...

I dont know who yukchak is but I know the only thing melatonin does, besides put you to sleep, is melatonin goes into each and every cell in your body and makes it stronger, it also kills free radicals because it is a free radical scavenger.

also most food in the USA is posioned by GMOs so I think to me at least, taking 50 MG of melatonin would be a preventive measure against cancer

yukschak wrote the bible of Lucid Dream supplements.
melatonine supress REM sleep at the begining of the night, like serotonine, and 5htp does. with such a dosage, I don't know what to expect, but I am quite sure you don't need this huge amount in your bloodstream.

im sorry but yukshak does not know what hes talking about. Sure, it CAN be used as a supplement for dreaming but the truth is its not like we dont have it in our bodies to begin with.

melatonin is produced by everyone, and every living thing in the world. even single cell organisms

so to say it suppresses rem sleep, makes no sense, because your making it seem like we dont have melatonin to begin with, and adding it will add some unnatural effect in sleeping.

this is not the case, we all have melatonin in us ALREADY. Its probably the ONLY 1 supplement IN THE WORLD that the more you take, wont harm you.

Im going to try the experiment tonight WITHOUT the melatonin to see if there is still the strange sounds and morris code beeps.

I put my name in the text to morris code webpage here, and it sounds like my name...in morris code in on of my recordings. I typed my name, because if someone was trying to contact me, they would say my name.

I just found this, and im going to investigate more...

      http://www.dxzone.com/catalog/Softwa...Code_Decoders/

its some kind of software that will take morris code, coming from my soundcard of PC into text...will it work, we will find out later...

how come nobody else does this experiment?

I don't know what this app is, but I'm going to give it a try. If I hear anything in the night or find some weird ass stuff on my audio files, I'm going to beat the hell out of whatever it is if i can. I don't know if you can fight ghosts though. If its astral projectors I'm going to ask them for help haha.

      Goals:
-Become Lucid in every dream every night
      -Perfect the time dilation watch
-Continue to have a dream plan for most of my lucid dreams

try it out, do you have an andriod phone? Im sure the iphone has many similar apps, but the babbler organizes the files so you can see wave form, and what time i was recorded... im sure many others maybe have better features but it was free and i like the way I can go through my files in the morning

the babbler apps 2 settings I posted above, increase the phones mic ranger ALOT, test it out and see for yourself.

record auto and keep it like 3 to 5 feet away.

later night I recorded some artifacts and I heard my self scared in some dream...saying "oh shit, and moaning"

the other night I said something "so they dont let you speak to them...wow"

Just downloaded this Italk recorder... it came up as the most relevant to babblr on Appcrawlr. Hopefully it has similar settings so I can the same thing. I'm curious as to what happens when I'm la la land ha.

Doesn't appear as if it does actually... Hmm I don't know that's cool though man.

Someone here really does not know what they're talking about, and it is not Yuschak with the problem.

The dosages matter. Our bodies produce melatonin, but in mcg levels. Having a substance in our bodes in mcg levels naturally does not mean it's safe to supplement at the mg or g levels! Salt is an essential mineral required for life, so why shouldn't we all go drink a quart of soy sauce? Because we'd die of sodium poisoning! "If a little is good, more must be better" is a false and potentially deadly mindset in supplementation.

you can die from a water over dose....but not from melatonin

it is the most important thing and the 1 and only thing we share in common with all kinds of life forms....even in basic cellular life

did Yuschak say it was....dangerous to take high dose of melatonin?

I bet Yuschak said its ok to take vitamin b6? That, is one extreamly dangerous supplement to take. does more hard then good.

I wouldnt even take any other supplements.

melatonin has been the reason ebola has not been spread out of control

      http://www.bmj.com/content/349/bmj.g5838/rr/765484

Re: Clinical trials of Ebola treatment to start in Africa

Although direct antiviral treatments through passive immunity would certainly have potential for treating Ebola, it’s not the virus which kills, but rather the damaged immune system discharging a “cytokine storm” and large amounts of nitric oxide, damaging blood vessels, causing blood and plasma leakage and dangerously low blood pressure similar to severe septic shock (1).

Treatment with melatonin might have some potential for alleviating the morbidity and mortality of Ebola virus infection, since melatonin has immuno-modulating and inhibitory functions against production and activation of pro-inflammatory mediators such as cytokines as well as preventing multiple organ and circulatory failure in septic shock and also has antiviral actions (2).

Ebola also causes coagulation abnormalities leading to hemorrhage through dramatically increased levels of tissue factor from lymphoid macrophages (3).

Melatonin stimulates release of a tissue factor pathway inhibitor from the vascular endothelium, which could potentially reduce bleeding complications from excessive tissue factor release (4).

Since melatonin has virtually no toxicity, along with conventional therapy (5), it would appear to have potential for treatment of ebola viral infection, to reduce complications such as organ failure, bleeding and shock, and possibly could reduce the mortality rate.

Can You Have a Melatonin Overdose? How Safe is Melatonin Really?

Melatonin is extremely safe and there are some very interesting Melatonin Benefits that you may be interested in learning more about. Melatonin safety is well-documented, and in the past decade that melatonin has been used as a supplement it has received an amazingly low amount of reports of Side Effects of Melatonin- even at high dosages and even at EXTREMELY high dosages!

xcept for the Melatonin Long Term Effects, melatonin safety is WELL documented and it's been found that a melatonin overdose is extremely hard to do- even when giving Melatonin for Children . In fact, it's so hard to give someone melatonin toxicity that scientists trying to find its toxicity level in mice couldn't do it. When scientists do preliminary studies on substances to try to find out levels of toxicity, they have developed a number called the LD 50. The LD 50 is the dose that will consistently kill half of the mice that they give the substance to. Well, Melatonin HAS NO LD 50 because no matter what dosage was given to mice, they just simply didn't die!
