How many things have bought for lucid dreaming?

I'm curious how much you guys have bought for the sole purpose of LD-ing.
(Including dream journals, LD food/drinks or even special pillows)

So far I've got 1 dream journal : P gotta start somewhere

      How about you?

I actually use the dream journal on the website.

I've bought so much stuff... Cod liver oil (everyone should try this, it helps recall and vividness), melatonin, peanut butter, notebook, DreamZ app, a lot of cheeze and bananas.. Probably a lot more things!

Yeah nothing here either... I kind of wanted the LD mask thingy, but I was like nah I don't need that. I go old school I guess.

When I started trying to LD a few years ago I had plans to buy all kinds of supplements and unusual foods. Had my eye on Galantamine, Calea, Choline and a few others. I would even have considered some kind of LD induction sleep-mask if they'd been cheaper at the time. In the end I didn't bother with any of it because I was skint. That was probably for the best too, since rigorous dream-journalling and WILD attempts seemed to do the trick. I used a free DJ program someone posted here a while ago and scoured my entries for dream signs. In the end that was enough to get regular lucid dreams, no money spent.

One notebook, three hard covered books and the third is over halfway through. Also some pencils and I bought some Melatonin for experimenting but they proved a bit ineffective so I threw them away. I haven't bought a sleep-mask, I usually just use something else to block unnecessary light to hit my eyes like a t-shirt, yes, I sometimes sleep with a t-shirt on my face

I have bought 6 or 7 dream journals...I go for fancy leather covers. Also I like buying nice pens...mostly for journalling. I have maybe 6 books on lucid dreaming. I bought the little metal top same as the movie "Inception." I have bought a number of movies that carry some theme of alternate reality (Matrix, inception, Avatar, Source Code, dream scape, The edge of tomorrow, Total Recall, etc). I bought a digital watch for a reality test. I bought an isochronic audio file. I bought vitamin B to test out. That is about all i can think of. Really though i just recommend the books and the journalling. The rest was just not useful for lucid dreaming, although I do enjoy my top and my movies.

But I consider all this a small investment for pleasure returned.

Stephen LaBerge's book to get myself started, dream journals and once or twice I bought a pack of apple juice to see if it really would affect my dreams.

I agree that good LD practices are more valuable than anything money can buy, but here are some things I've invested in to improve my dream life:

Various supplements and herbs to trial, blue light blocking goggles, warm coloured light bulbs, blockout curtains, SleepPhones (for isochronic tones / binaural beats), an erasable pen for dream journalling, reading material, iPhone apps, the Remee sleep mask, and I pledged money for an Oneirics dream mask but the project didn't get funded in the end.

I mostly buy things for research and experimentation, since the usual LD induction techniques have worked wonderfully for me without any other aids.
