Thread: First Lucid Dream! (I think)

After 25 days of reading and nightly LD attempts I finally had some seemingly real results!

I woke up a couple hours early and decided it would be the perfect time for WILD. I started it repeating a mantra and then went to visualization, but it was at the visualization that I accidentally fell asleep. I must have maintained some awareness though, I remember seeing hypnagogic images and then felt my "eyes" opening and my heart beating very fast. I couldn't believe it when I was standing in a place in my house and seeing it so clearly! I remember thinking, "go outside." and then starting to walk, but I suddenly "woke up" into a normal dream that began with a FA.

So that's it. My first lucid, or semi lucid, dream. I didn't remember to do a reality check during that 5 seconds of amazement. It probably would have caused me to become completely aware, but I'm just happy I finally had one and can't wait to try again tonight.
